Charles Tyrwhitt’s definition of “slim” apparently means “only 30-40lbs overweight.” I could stand to lose maybe 5lbs but the slim fit shirts had way too much excess material around the waist. (This is perhaps not surprising; contrary to the “fat American” stereotype, the pudgeballs in my professional circle are mostly European.)

Of the three fits we offer, Slim is the middle of those - sitting between the Extra Slim and the Classic. As such, it is very much the 'regular' fitting option. It's a good place to start if you're unsure of which fit to choose, although we have some great guides and sizing information available on the website to help and our Customer Service Team will provide any assistance in getting the right fit for you.
The Extra Slim Fit shirts sound as though they will be the best option for you, so we hope you'll consider giving those a try on a future purchase.
