This coat looks and feels great. I was concerned it would not be warm enough for Iowa winters (FYI the coat weighs about 3lbs). It may not cut it if you're looking to be outside in sub zero temps for an extended period of time but it stood the test of having to comfortably load and unload cars in a temp around 3 degrees F. With a few layers underneath, I think this is the best bang for your buck for a pure wool coat. The quality is evident in every detail. For reference, I am 5'8" and wear 40R.
