Shirt shrunk first time in wash and is so wrinkled ironing doesn’t get any of the wrinkles out
Response from Charles Tyrwhitt:
While linen is a beautiful and lightweight material - fantastic for the summer - it does have one notable downside and that is a tendency to wrinkle and crease more than cotton. We're sorry that this has caused you disappointment. A good tip would be to steam the shirt whilst still a little damp, and then hang it to dry. It should help ensure that the creases 'fall out' as it were.
The shrinkage is another matter, of course, and shouldn't happen to any noticeable degree. Certainly not to the point where it becomes unwearable. You are fully covered by our guarantee, and we'll be in touch to assist with a return (free of charge) shortly.
