Accessibility Statement
Our commitment to accessibility
Charles Tyrwhitt is committed to making our web sites as accessible as possible. Our aim is to combine compelling user experiences with good levels of accessibility and inclusivity, so everyone can use our digital services, whatever their abilities or disabilities. This is part of our dedication to providing exemplary customer service, and that “all men no matter their shape or size, where they may be in the world, or indeed their budget should be able to own a Jermyn Street quality shirt, a proper shirt, a CT shirt.” Our ongoing site development and content creation is guided by best-practice accessibility guidelines such as WCAG and ISO 30071-1. The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for improving accessibility for people with disabilities. There are three levels: A, double A, and triple A. At a minimum, we aim to achieve compliance to level AA.
Adapt your experience to your needs
While this site has been created to be usable ‘as is’, many people are likely to get the most accessible experience by customising their computer or mobile device to suit their individual needs – for example: to change the site’s colour scheme, increase the size of its text or use a screen reader.
If that sounds like it would be useful to you, we recommend you visit: Ability Nets factsheets or RNIB Assistive Aids and Technology for more information about how these customisations (achieved by using accessibility features already on your computer, phone or tablet, or through installing assistive technologies) might suit you.
Limitations of this website’s accessibility
Through expert accessibility testing of our site and by using representative assistive technologies, we are aware that the Charles Tyrwhitt website has accessibility limitations. We are endeavouring to address these and are working towards WCAG 2.0 AA.
Customers using screen readers will be forced into application mode to improve keyboard experience when using the following:
