Years (and years) ago I bought a number of Charles Tyrwhitt non-iron shirts - and I do mean years ago and they have been absolutely wonderful - well made (except for the add on pockets!) but beautifully cut and made. Thick material, fitted exceptionally well and true to size. They lasted me years and had no need to buy more - but, they started to fray a little so back to the website - recently I purchased 4 more similar - with same sizing as on my previous shirts... and as is the saying these days OMG... what a disaster... they are thin, almost sheer and sizing is most definitely not true to size - they have the same size as my previous well-made shirts but are so much smaller - can't even button them up. I think... and I hope I'm wrong... but these are now made in China or some such where sizing is notoriously smaller than Western sizes - and, the quality (soooo thin!) supports being produced in a much 'cheaper' process. Bit difficult to display this is a picture or two, but the attached gives some idea - the mauve shirt is the more recent, but that's easy to see! Oh well, our local Good Samaritans Op shop will get the benefit of four new (3 unopened) 'small' shirts
