Our lightweight shorts have always been a hit during the warmer months, but this season we've made a few tweaks to the design to make them fit better than ever. The silhouette is more streamlined, tapering towards the knee, while the new curved split waistband ensures a comfortable finish. We've added a French bearer too – an additional panel of fabric behind the button fly – for a neater look that keeps the front flat.

Seam on pocket came undone after first wearing. Not impressed!

Thank you for taking the time to provide this feedback, though we are sorry that you received a garment that was not up to scratch, in this case the pocket tearing after wearing them for the first time. This should absolutely not have happened. Unfortunately the shorts have sold out in your size and we are unable to issue a like for like replacement. We have emailed you to ask if an alternative pair would be more to your liking, or if a refund was preferred.
