Double dapper boxer shorts! My original supplier had stopped producing comfortable boxers and so last year I began the hunt for an alternative source. Like many men, especially those who have done large amounts of cyclng or who have a sedentary occupation, I do not like boxers with a rear central seam. Unfortunately, most boxers do have this unwelcome feature. Eventually, after many disappointments, I found that J*ck*y boxers were ok in this respect. The look, however, is not flattering : the super-wide legs which fan out madly from the waist, make you look like an extra from the Bolshoi Ballet, not an ideal image to cut when you’re on active service! Then I found the Charles T. boxers and they were a revelation! Beautifully made, they feature a seamless rear and slightly longer legs (ie long enough not to ‘run up’ when you’re sitting or whatever) and hey presto!, they’re really comfortable! How I wish I’d found these long ago! I just didn’t think of Charles T. as selling more than just shirts and a few other things. The shirts I’ve had from them have always been quality items so perhaps I should not have been surprised to find their boxers are up to world championship standard. Double Dapper! Oct 25 / KK
