Boots are of good quality. Hopefully they last long. Size was just about right. Would recommend.

By tweaked, I'm assuming they mean cheapened because these are the worst quality item I have ever received from CT. Let me count the ways: -Poor quality leather which looks like it had been corrected by hand with paint brushstrokes. Tried buffing to no avail. -Live chat advised me that these were still Goodyear welted. Very doubtful as they have fake stitching on the top welt and a rubbery sole (no shank?). -Sole is advertised on the website as part leather. Looks and feels like rubber (poorly) painted to look like leather. Pretty misleading. I have CT shoes that have lasted years. They have a good quality Goodyear welt construction with a leather sole. This pair of boots wouldn't have lasted 6 months if I kept them (which I didn't). If this is what they are now selling, CT should get out of the shoe business altogether because this level of quality is available in everybody's local shopping mall for about $50. Very disappointing. I hope the quality of their shirts aren't following the same path.
