As it's slightly unclear what you mean by 'waist clips', I will assume you mean the clasps above the fly that hold the trouser shut.
If this was the case I'd like to apologize about the faulty pair you've received. Furthermore, I've taken the liberty of sending out a new pair to you as there was only one pair left in stock and I didn't want to cause further disappointment.
