Virginia Blooms

This all-over floral meadow design was hand painted in-house and can either be interpreted as a print, or an abstract Impressionist texture. By using coloured marker pens which have a soft bleed when applied, the wide variety of flowers such as hollyhocks, poppies, and daisies merge into one seamless patchwork.

STEEL BLUE PRINT MADE WITH LIBERTY FABRIC

This dense and delicate tiny rose pattern is from the Liberty archive and dates from the mid-1950s, although that version would have been based on much earlier Victorian designs. Liberty has a wonderful collection of 19th and 20th century pattern books, which would have been used as inspiration for creating this print.
